Hey Cayde! Since we've talked before, that gives me the opportunity to ask the following question:

How do you feel about big and purple boats, and would you go on a blind date with one?

The only experience I have with boats is looking for hidden loot aboard or clearing out some pesky Fallen who've been using it as a hidey-hole.

No. I had another team, but that partnership... Fell through. So here I am, without a team and without a roomba, but still entered in the competition. You can see my predicament.

My answer to that depends on whether you'll let me possess the roomba.

Just think: all the other devices will just be operating on chance and their extremely limited programming! But if I was in control of the little thing, it would instantly give us an edge. That, plus a couple of tweaks to whatever devices we use to eviscerate the competition...

You could always ask Misfire, of course. And why not both? I know at least one of the roombas will have a small rocket launcher on it. [ Thank you for that information, Slipstream. ] We need something that will, if not outclass that, then at least counter it.

Right- are we just yelling at each other or something for that, or would it work better if I figured out how to rig my communication thingy into the roomba? My Ghost would be able to handle the connection from there.

Well, I can honestly say I've never been asked to hunt down sewing materials before. That is going to be a lot of fabric and thread, and I am not sure how much of any of that might be sitting around the ship.

Perhaps for the best. All the ones I've been to have amounted to nothing more than shameless politicking; you look the right way, say the right things, and no one tears you apart for another few decacycles or so. Doesn't sound like something you would enjoy.
